Why do dreams always make sense when you’re dreaming them?

Last night I dreamt that I, together with all my friends and family, I was living in a naturist / nudist camp.

Except it was bloody cold in the real world yesterday, so in my dream everyone was wearing woolly hats, scarves and gloves.

    Thanks for making me smile. That’s a wonderfully internally consistent mental image. Like cutting a hole through the middle of the tree trunk so that the swing ropes can attach to the two strongest branches on either side.
